Art On Canvas

Doug and I are getting quite hooked on printing artwork onto canvas. I think it is the thought that you can print simply anything which is so mind boggling. We were offered the opportunity to have a print made by Canvas Online for our office, which is to be the subject of a feature for Real Homes magazine.

What could be more tempting? The results are fantastic… Our office looks like a gallery, I can only give a wee hint today, the full shoot will be revealed when it is published in June!

In the meantime Canvas Online are very kindly offering a 20% discount to readers of Her Indoors. Just use the code “indoor20” when you make your order. A great opportunity to think of some gorgeous images to have printed up for Christmas, either as really personal and original presents or to decorate the house…

A whole series of tiny wee snowy scenes from a skiing holiday for a festive hallway?
A large print of some gorgeous Christmas biscuits you have made?
Or a loosely arranged branch of eucalyptus, a sprig of mint and some fruit…?

Find and photograph anything you want to create a really original gift for family and friends and to get you in the mood for Christmas. Order before midday and they will deliver the next day in the UK. The Earnest Home blog, who very kindly allowed me to use the above image are full of ideas for home made gifts actually… Give some a go and get photographing!

If you are not feeling that creative, but still want to give something really personal, have a look at the personalised gifts from ContempoHome, they are brilliant… after all, Christmas is pretty soon now – not that I am panicking or anything!! I love the personalised, framed, vintage maps… great for happy memories…
