Competition Time!

I was contacted by Wallcreate asking if I would be interested in a free 40cm x 30cm canvas print for myself with any image, plus a free canvas print giveaway to one of my readers of the same size?

They would also offer all the lucky applicants a 15% Coupon for any of our canvas products.

Doug had the idea of digitally manipulating one of Rembrandt’s self portraits so that the eyes were looking away: as if he had been distracted…

They did a brilliant job in response to our rather odd request, it makes a really good addition to our bedroom.

Wall Create has been printing on canvas since 2001 and is one of the most popular canvas printing companies in the UK.

I love printing onto canvas…it really gets my imagination going – the thought that I can put anything onto a canvas is almost too much for me!

If anyone can come up with an idea for a 40x30cm print onto canvas that would complement their interior scheme, I would love to hear about it. Just make a comment, describing it below and I will be asking a local interior designer, Catherine Goldsmith, of Arcadia Interiors to help me make the final decision next Monday, 2nd March.

Unfortunately this offer is only available to readers in the UK.

Naturally for me it would be either the extreme close up of my darling Smudges beautiful beautiful face showing only one eye and wee nose……….. but that’s just for me.

For competition suggestion a photo of a stormy grey cloudy sky. No land, nothing, just the fabulous swirly grey so common in Scotland at this time of year. It would suit any interior
    scheme.

I would like a bold, colourful (probably pink) and ethnic pattern printed onto the canvas – a tiny bit of wallpaper on a white wall! A series of them would brighten up any plain wall.

I would love a canvas of my daughter riding her horse on the our beautiful beach in Gullane. She will be going to University later this year and I will miss her and our outings with the horse in beautiful East Lothian and this would be a lovely picture to have on my wall now and in the future.

I would have a picture of an Aubergine – this may sound a little strange but I love the colour and the shape of this handsome vegetable!
