A new interiors studio in Edinburgh will literally ‘pop up’ in Glasgow this week.
PAD Lifestyle is fresh collection of designer fashion, furniture and home ware. With a shop on Howe street, in Edinburgh, and an online collection, the owner, Anna, has travelled far and wide to source chic and unique brands from across the world. Her home is an exquisite showcase for her new venture.
Anna has also created her own range of bespoke, limited edition, furniture and accessories, hand-crafted by specialist carpenters in Indonesia and upholstered in a wide variety of designer fabrics.
The gorgeous kitchen is from Sculleries of Stockbridge, amply accessorised by a chandelier, gilt mirror and selection of art work.
The bathroom is by Fired Earth. Walls painted in ‘Downpipe’ by Farrow & Ball and marble flooring has resulted in an edgy, minimal finish.
The bedroom is a classical fusion of East meets West, a favourite look of Anna’s.
PAD is Anna’s edit of cool and collectable designs from amazing international and independent creators. Douglas has photographed her Edinburgh home and it is currently on the front cover of Homes & Interiors Scotland.
She offers an interior design service as well. Having someone to guide you through the maze of fabrics, wallpaper, furniture and objets d’art available through this amazing portal is a godsend and will enable you to get your home absolutely right.
The Art & Interiors Show will open this Wednesday until Saturday 21st Nov at SWG3, 100, Eastvale Place, Glasgow G3 8QG, 10.30am – 6.30pm or 8pm on Thursday. Featuring contemporary art, mid 20th century furniture and designer interiors, presented by, Edinburgh’s Arusha Gallery, Lair and PAD Lifestyle.
